Rusting
Bonjour,
I’ve been working on a real nice project here at Edhv, Eindhoven, for a commission from a screenprinting atelier. I did a lot of wacky experiments and weird mixing to finally end up with this oxidizing metal posters. We printed different layers of metals and acids and other solutions, which rust over a weeks time, giving the posters their colors.
You can see more pictures here: http://www.edhv.nl/edhv/?p=5672#more-5672
Also the studio has decided to bring this project further and presented as part of the Dutch Design Week which means my internship was prolonged for two more months and I get to keep experimenting!

Internship Edhv
Hello from Eindhoven, NL. I’ve been interning here at Edhv for a month now, so far so good! If you don’t know there work check it out here edhv.nl. I’ve been working on a few different projects, and so much is happening in the studio. Also Eindhoven is pretty nice, with a thriving artist community coming out from the industrial city.

SouthSouthWest, Melbourne
I have officially started my internship at SouthSouthWest in Melbourne. Great projects, great people, a small, friendly work environment. So far I have been working on a Tasmanian beer packaging, have done some photo editing for Nike billboard ads, and have done some web-typography work. I am going to learn so much with these guys, stoked to be here!
Vincent Moon at the Rooftop Cinema
Hello,
After two months in New Zealand, a Christmas on the beach, a few sunburns, I have now made it to Melbourne where I should be starting my internship here at SouthSouthWest next week. In the meantime I have been able to explore the city and meet a lot of interesting people, like Vincent Moon who showed some of his work at the Rooftop Cinema (which is such a nice place, in the heart of the city at the top of a six story building, and “committed to showcasing arthouse, classic and recent release films in a completely unique urban environment”) and got drunk with everyone at the bar.
Safe,
Blaise
New Zealand
I have finished my internship in Paris, and have now arrived in New Zealand! I will be travelling here for a bit before continuing on to Melbourne where I’ll have my second internship. I’ve got a few photography and video projects going on here, and you can see more of my pics on my flickr http://www.flickr.com/blaisechatelain/
